OIL/GAS EXPLORATION SERVICES
HYDROCARBON MAPPING COMPANY
SERPENTINE PLUG CENTRAL TEXAS
THIS IS A HYDROCARBON SURVEY OF A WOODBINE RESERVOIR IN EAST TEXAS. THE WOODBINE IN THIS AREA HAS PRODUCED UP TO 1,000,000 BARRELS OIL PER WELL.
ABOUT US
Specialists in oil and gas surveys with remote sensing techniques. 33 years experience in the oil industry.
The owners of Hydrocarbon Mapping Co.,LLC have been in the oil and gas business for 33 years.
The success rate could be said to be 80% or better. This is a qualified statement because it is subject to the acreage being surveyed. We are searching for hydrocarbons so if we discover that an area surveyed does not have hydrocarbons trapped, or of low quality, then this is a success. This saves both lease dollars and drilling cost.
We have the knowledge, years of experience, and very special resources that make our work unique. As far as we know no other company can match what we offer.
We will survey any area. From drill site locations, lease block acreage to regional areas.

" I have retained Hydrocarbon Mapping Co.,LLC for more than 70 sq miles in New Mexico and more than 8 sq miles in Texas. The New Mexico hydrocarbon surveys agreed with seismic and log analysis and confirmed that virgin reservoirs are in place. A Texas hydrocarbon survey confirmed remaining reserves to produce from an old field. The fault maps defined unproduced traps."

Pete:
"We recently acquired an old waterflood field in East Texas. In doing our due diligence, we found a correlation between the pricing crash of the 1980's and the subsequent lack of field development relevant to the original waterflood plan. Although the field had been traded numerous times and a lot of the well records had been lost over time, we were still able to piece together enough information to reveal strong potential upside that warranted the acquisition of the property. In the very last stages of our due diligence, we found that satellite hydrocarbon mapping had been done over the field in 2012. When we overlaid the isopach map, the wells, and the satellite mapping, a very vivid picture of the current state of the field emerged. In areas where we expected to see oil banking, the satellite signature was strong. Near the previous injection wells, the areas showed swept regions. And in the area of the field that was never flooded, we saw a lower oil signature that we would expect from depletion. Overall, the hydrocarbon mapping was almost insurance in our minds that we were making the right acquisition.
