HYDROCARBON MAPPING 

Hydrocarbon Mapping is a  company formed for the purpose of locating hydrocarbon reservoirs worldwide. The scientists who are providing the service of acquiring and interpreting the data have been in the business for more than 25 years. Because of the high experience level and thousands of reservoirs that have been discovered we can say that the discovery rate is very high. The discovery rate is limited to where a client dictates that Hydrocarbon Mapping surveys. The clients that have the greatest success are companies that commission regional surveys and companies that are extending reservoirs in known fields or are in oil and gas country where there are known reservoirs. The regional surveys are performed in an effort to locate reservoirs within several thousand acres. Once a reservoir is located then larger scale maps are developed that define these reservoirs in more detail.

The exploration methods used by Hydrocarbon Mapping are based on data and methods used by physicists. Simply stated, Hydrocarbon Mapping  scientists interpret multiple sources of data downloaded from satellite instruments. One data source is light signatures that emanate from any known material in the Universe. Every molecule in the Universe has a unique light signature that defines what it is. Astro physicists are able to study planets and stars and define their material composition. They can define what materials the solids are and what material the gases are made up of. A scientist can define a gas planet as methane or whatever gas it is composed of. This is through the interpretation of light coming off of the material.

Hydrocarbon Mapping has access to over 800 satellites. We access data from these satellites from tools that were placed on the satellites when they were put in orbit. We are also upgrading whenever new satellites are put in orbit with new tools. All of these tools enable us to incorporate the following information in the finished product: Radar, Infrared (Temperature), Radiation (Radiometrics), Dialectiric Potential (Telluric), Ionization and Geo-Magnetic. Hydrocarbon Mapping uses all of these tools and incorporates the data in each map. All of the satellite data is stacked, then combined, in our process to produce each of the maps. We believe that this is one of the reasons for such a high success rate. Thirty years experience is the other reason.

This is a wildcat oil field we discovered 25 years ago that has produced 15 million barrels oil. It was re-surveyed 4 years ago and found to have good remaining reserves.

Tools installed on the satellites enable the detection of oil and gas reservoirs. Major oil companies have been using this technique for years. The success rate is in the 80% range.
